Dayspring Church
Our Church name comes from Luke 1:78-79, "Through the tender mercy of our God; whereby the Dayspring from on high hath visited us; to give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace."
The title Dayspring "the rising sun" is a picture of Jesus Christ, who did visit us from heaven. The result of that visit is spiritual illumination, as a sunrise dispels darkness when a new day dawns.
The coming of Christ provides light for those living in the darkness of sin and will drive away the hopeless shadows of death. The light of Christ shines forever and He guides our feet into the path of peace. A peace that calms our souls and strengthens our walk with God in a troubled world. Jesus is our Dayspring from on high
