Dr. Larry Hester accepts Interim Pastorate at Dayspring
Beginning 1 June, 2009, Dr. Larry Hester will assume the position of Pastor at Dayspring Church on an Interim basis. Dr. Hester comes to this position with a wealth of experience in church planting and growth. Pastor Hester also serves as the Professor of Pastoral Ministries at Southwestern Assemblies of God University where he has been for the past 15 years. Hester is excited about the possibilities for growth in the Greater North Arlington area. "I think the potential for Dayspring is unlimited! God gave gifts to His church through people, and I'm looking forward to seeing what He's going to do in this city through the gifts and talents of the congregation at Dayspring."
Dr. Hester will be preaching this Sunday at Dayspring. Come and visit us.

“I TRIED, BUT NO ONE EVER CALLED ME”
“I tried, but no one ever called me” are painful words for a leader who has much work to do and not enough people willing to do it. These words are painful for the person who wanted to contribute, but was never called. These are also painful words for a person who is committed to helping people connect and contribute in meaningful ways within the church.
